On Valhalla, you do not need to kill all 30 ZNMs in order to reach Pandemonium Warden. The seals allow the bearer one chance at purchasing a higher tier item by trading a specific amount of gil. It can be taken back to Sanraku, who will give you a colored seal key item in return. These are normal battles, not battlefields.
